Lead Trainer

Chrissy DAgostino, M.A.

Independent Educational Consultant and Parent Educator.

Chrissy is an experienced educational consultant and trainer with expertise in early childhood, special education, and educational neuroscience.

She holds a Master’s degree from San Francisco State University in both Early Childhood and Special education, and has extensive experience in applying neuroscience-based approaches to education.

With advanced training and certifications from The International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL), The Brazelton Touchpoints Center, The MEHRIT Centre, Ltd, and as a certified Powerfully You Self-Regulation Curriculum provider, Chrissy integrates cutting-edge research into her work. She holds a certification in Applied Educational Neuroscience from Butler University and has completed coursework at both the Mindsight Institute and the Polyvagal Institute.

In her private practice, Chrissy provides educational consultation to schools, coaching and professional development for educators, and teaches parent education workshops online. Her work is deeply rooted in relational neuroscience, the science of the nervous system, and Polyvagal Theory, equipping educators and parents with research-based strategies to support children's development and well-being.

Kristy McNaughton

Kristy McNaughton is a Lead Trainer for The Regulated Classroom and an experienced educator with expertise in high school education and embodied regulation practices.

With over two decades of facilitation experience, she is known for her ability to read a room, listen deeply, and guide individuals and groups with presence, groundedness, and gratitude. She supports participants through body-based awareness, breath, reflection, and sound in ways that feel accessible and immediately applicable.

Kristy’s work integrates conscious use of breath, music, and voice to foster regulation, connection, and engagement. Drawing from her experience leading Embodied Movement and retreat experiences, she provides teachers with felt practices they can bring into their classrooms the very next day, helping them cultivate presence, responsiveness, and relational practices with students. Her facilitation style is relational, practical, and deeply human, supporting educators in caring for their own nervous systems while building classroom cultures where students can show up, take risks, and thrive.

Angie Witt M.A., LPCC (CA), LPC (CO)

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Psychotherapist

Angie Witt is a licensed professional clinical counselor and psychotherapist in California and Colorado with over 20 years of experience supporting children, families, and educators. Her professional background includes middle school teaching, high school counseling, and elementary mental health support.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Roberts Wesleyan University and dual Master’s degrees in Sociology and Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Her interdisciplinary background allows her to integrate educational systems knowledge, relational science, and clinical mental health practices in her work with clients and communities.

Angie specializes in trauma-informed parenting and education, helping adults understand nervous system regulation and the power of co-regulation in supporting children’s development and well-being. Her work is grounded in relational neuroscience and embodied therapeutic practices, equipping parents and educators with practical, research-informed strategies while also having a lot of fun!

She has trained in TIST (Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment) through the Academy of Therapy Wisdom with Janina Fisher, IPNB (Interpersonal Neurobiology) with Dr. Dan Siegel, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute with Dr. Pat Ogden. Angie is currently working through coursework to become a Reiki practitioner.

Angie is committed to ongoing learning and professional growth, continually expanding her knowledge of relational neuroscience, trauma treatment, and embodied therapeutic practices. Through therapy, consultation, and training, she supports parents, educators, and helping professionals in building regulated nervous systems, strengthening relationships, and creating environments where children and adults can both thrive and learn together.
